Chicken Cacciatore

2 1/2 pounds chicken
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp paprika
4 tbsp cooking oil
2 cloves garlic - minced
3 whole onion - sliced
2 green pepper - Sliced
1 - 32 oz. can Italian tomatoes
1 - 15 1/2 oz tomato sauce
2 whole chicken bouillon cube - crushed
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp pepper
1 whole bay leaf - crumbled
1/2 cup dry red wine


Wash and dry chicken pieces. Combine flour, salt and paprika in a plastic or paper bag. Toss chicken in flour to coat. Heat the oil in a skillet and brown chicken pieces. Remove chicken and drain on paper towels. Sauté peppers and onions until soft. Add garlic and sauté for one minute. Add chicken, vegetables, and remaining ingredience in crockpot or 6 quart Nesco cooker. Cover; cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
