Austrian Coffee Cake

6oz butter/margarine
6oz caster sugar
6oz self raising flour
pinch salt
3 eggs
Rum or Brandy
1/2 Pint Double Cream
Flaked Almonds - toasted


Cream butter, add sugar, cream together until light and fluffy add the eggs, beat together thoroughly.

Sieve flour and salt into bowl add the creamed mixture folding in gently. Put into a greased ring mold - bake at 375F (190 Deg C) for 25-30 minutes.

Turn out and allow to cool. Enjoy.
