IRISH RAISIN BREAD


Ingredients

6 cups flour
6 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 lb. seedless raisins
1 1/2 cups spry or shortening

Procedure
***************


Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and raisins. Add shortening and mix well. Add milk and mix like biscuit dough. Pour in greased and floured loaf pans. Place in 325° oven for about 60 minutes. Test with skewer Temperature: 325° Baking Time: 60 minutes.
