Peanut Butter Filling: 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) softened cream cheese 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg 2 Tbsp milk Brownies: 1 cup butter 2 cup sugar 2 tsp. vanilla extract 3 eggs 3/4 cup cocoa 1 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup chocolate chips
Procedure

Heat oven to 350. Grease 13X9 baking pan. Prepare Peanut Butter filling
by combining all the ingredients. Place butter in large microwave-safe
bowl and microwave on high 2 mins or until melted. Stir in sugar and
vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well with spoon after each
addition. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and
salt; beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Remove 1 cup of batter. Pour
remaining batter into prepared pan. Spread peanut butter filling over top.
Drop reserved chocolate batter by teaspoonfuls over filling. Using knife,
gently swirl through top layers for marbled effect. Bake 35-40 mins. or
until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean. Cool
completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. About 36 brownies.
