CRAWFISH PIE


Ingredients

1 lb. crawfish
3/4 stick butter
1 onion
1/2 bell pepper
1 stalk celery
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. ready made pie crust, any brand
2 green onion tops, chopped
1 parsley, chopped


Procedure

Chop onion, bell pepper and celery. In heavy skillet add chopped ingredients and butter. Saute. Add soup and crawfish. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add green onions and parsley. Cook another 10 minutes. Season to taste, salt, pepper, and/or cajun seasoning. Place one pie shell in pie plate, pour crawfish mixture into pie shell. Place remaining pie shell on top, seal and make 4 slits on top of pie shell. Bake at 300 degrees until golden brown.

Temperature: 300°

Baking Time: 20-30 minutes.
