FISH STEW


Ingredients

1 clove garlic, minced
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
Small amount of oil
1 - 8 oz, can tomatoes, including liquid
1 - 12 oz. can tomato juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup white wine
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 lbs. cubed fish


Procedure

Cook onion, garlic and pepper in small amount of oil until onion is limp. Add remaining ingredients, except fish. Bring to a boil, add fish. Cook about 8 minutes. Red Snapper fish, or other white fish can be used.
Serve with sourdough bread (toasted).
