MEXICAN GRILLED STEAK


Ingredients

2 pounds flank steaks
1/2 cup lime juice
2 tbsp. dry oregano
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 cloves garlic, crushed


Procedure

Place beef steaks in shallow glass or plastic dish. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the beef. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours, turning occasionally. Set oven control to broil. Cook beef to your liking on prepared barbecue grill. Cut beef in thin strips across the grain of the meat. Serve with tortillas and guacamole if desired. Makes 8 servings.
