BUTERSCOTCH BROWNIES


Ingredients

1/4 cup veggie. oil
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 all all purpose unbleached or whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Procedure

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease sauce pan, 8x8x2 in. Mix oil, brown sugar egg and vanilla. Stir in remaning ingredients. Spread in pan. Bake 25 min. While warm cut into 2 in. squares. Makes 16 brownies.

Temperature: 350°

Baking Time: 350 minutes.
