SPICY COFFEE CAKE


Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
TOPPING
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup broken walnuts
1 1/2 cup seedless raisins


Procedure

Cream the margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla as well as the sour cream together until fluffy. Mix the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together and add to the creamed mixture. Beat until fluffy. Spread one half of the mixture into a 9x13 inch greased pan. Mix the ingredients for the topping together. Sprinkle half of this mixture on the cake mixture in the pan. Add the remaining cake batter and spread the remainder of the topping over it. Place in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.

Temperature: 350°

Baking Time: 40 minutes.
