SWEET ROLLS


Ingredients

3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup honey
Dash of salt
1/2 cup margarine
1/3 cup warm water
2 pkgs. dry yeast
3 eggs at room temperature
5 1/5 - 6 cups flour


Procedure

Scald milk, stir in honey and margarine. Cool to lukewarm. Pour warm water into warned bowl. Sprinkle in yeast and stir until dissolved, add lukewarm milk mixture and eggs and 5 cups flour. Mix well. Add more flour as needed. Knead dough approximately 10 minutes or until dough is smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover and let rise about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. Punch dough down and divide in half. Roll out and spread with melted butter, brown sugar and raisins. For holidays add candied fruit. Roll and cut into pieces. Place in pans, almost touching, cover and let rise. Place in 400° oven for 20 minutes.
Frost: Confectioners sugar, water and vanilla.

Temperature: 400°

Baking Time: 20 minutes.
