APPLE CHEESE DESSERT
Ingredients

5 cups apple slices
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup grated cheddar cheese
Procedure

Fill pie pan or shallow baking dish with apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice and ¼ cup of the sugar. Mix
cinnamon, flour, salt and other one-half cup of sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is granular. Stir in cheese.
Spread over apples. Place in a 450° oven for 40 minutes, or until apples are tender. Cool before cutting to
serve.
Temperature: 450°
Baking Time: 40 minutes.
