ENGLISH TOFFEE COOKIES
Ingredients

1 cup toffee pieces 1 cup sugar 1 egg yolk for batter 1 egg white for top 2 cups flour 1 cop nuts, optional 1 tap. vanilla
Procedure

Mix everything together except the egg white and spread in a cookie sheet. Press down. Spread egg white all over the top. Sprinkle
chopped nuts on top and press down a little. Bake 300° for 45 minutes to an 1 hour. Cut into bars or squares immediately.
Temperature: 300°
Baking Time: 45-60 minutes.
