IRISH RAISIN BREAD
Ingredients

6 cups flour 6 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 lb. seedless raisins 1 1/2 cups spry or shortening
Procedure

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and raisins. Add shortening and mix well. Add milk and mix like biscuit
dough. Pour in greased and floured loaf pans. Place in 325° oven for about 60 minutes. Test with skewer
Temperature: 325°
Baking Time: 60 minutes.
