IRISH BREAD
Ingredients

6 cups flour 6 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 Ib. seedless raisins 1 1/2 cups spry or shortening
Procedure

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and raisins. Then cut in shortening until well mixed. Add milk and mix until
it's like biscuit dough. Put in a greased and floured loaf pan. Place in 325° oven for about 1 hour. Test with
a skewer, bake until done.
Temperature: 325°
Baking Time: About 60 minutes.
