Sweet Potato Pie

4 sweet potatoes
2 deep dish pie crusts
3 eggs
1 1/2 - 2 cups of sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick margarine (Butter)
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring (extract)
1 tsp. lemon flavoring (extract)


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them. Place the sweet potatoes in a pan of water and cook on top of the stove. Cook the sweet potatoes for about 15-20 minutes. Melt the margarine (butter) or you may let the margarine (butter) get to room temperature. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. Pour the ingredients into the two pie crusts and place in the oven. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

Temperature: 400°

Baking Time: 40 - 45 minutes.
