Moms Chili


1 lb ground chuck
1 medium onion, diced 1/4 inch
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
3 tb chili powder
1 can Campbell's Tomato Soup
1 soup can water
1 small can tomato paste
1 tomato paste can water
2 16 oz cans dark red kidney beans


Brown ground chuck until no longer pink. Add diced onions and minced garlic. Continue cooking until onions are transparent. Add salt, sugar, chili powder, and mix well. Add tomato soup, tomato paste, combined amounts of water, stirring mixture until thoroughly combined. Continue cooking, covered, 25-30 minutes. Drain and rinse kidney beans, add to chili, continue cooking additional 15-20 minutes.
