Hersheys Chocolate Fudge Cake

3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 2/3 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2/3 cup cocoa
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cups milk


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time (I do them separated as I do for the other cake) beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Beat at medium speed 5 minutes, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Combine dry ingredients, add mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients (then I fold in the beaten egg whites) Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
