Chicken Potato Casserole


2 Lbs Hash Browns, Frozen
8 Ozs Canned Chicken
1/2 cup Onion -- chopped
1/2 cup Butter -- (1/4 cup reserved)
1 Tsp salt
10 Ozs Cheddar Cheese -- grated
1 Tsp pepper
10 Ozs Cream of Chicken Soup
8 Ozs Sour Cream
Fresh Bread Crumbs


Thaw potatoes partially. Mix all ingredients except reserved butter and bread crumbs. Pour into a well greased casserole dish. Mix bread crumbs and butter together and sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
