Breakfast Smoothie


1 peeled small to medium banana
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup yoghurt
splash vanilla
few shakes cinnamon
1/2 tsp instant coffee
3 ice cubes
2 pitted dates, or honey to taste


Combine in blender. If using honey, drizzle in with blender running so it doesn't settle on the bottom. To make a thicker shake, freeze the banana in chunks, and use that instead of the ice cubes. A riper banana will give a more liquid shake with a more pronounced banana flavor.
