Breakfast Casserole (version 2)


4 English muffins split
2 Tbsp butter
1 lb. sausage
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1-1/2 cups sour cream
1 doz. eggs, beaten


Spread butter on English muffins, place buttered side down on baking dish which has been sprayed; brown crumbled sausage; layer sausage and cheese onto muffins; combine sour cream and eggs, beating until smooth; pour over muffins, cover with plastic wrap, chill at least 8 hours; let stand at room temperature for 30 mins., bake uncovered at 350 for 35-40 mins until brown.
